Spa-studio set with soothing music.  Practical options and instructions with time to enjoy poses and transitions.  If you don’t want to work with a Matrix-type system and just want to put a dvd on and do yoga, this is an excellent option.   Jason Crandell’s style is a blend of Iyengar-inspired and Vinyasa.  He offers challenging options with  calming instruction.

Best  instructional yoga video.  2 full length yoga workouts for beginners with optional shorter workouts – AM & PM workouts.  Very detailed pose instruction noting common mistakes.  On screen pose training for perfect form.  3 options offered with workouts:  with instruction, music only or with inspirational instruction.

Best Int/Advanced Shiva Rea: Daily Energy – Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Matrix menu option to create your own yoga sessions.  Customizable options from 7,  20 minute practices with creative combination of poses to challenge any seasoned yogi.  Taught in classic yoga style and language, but not as much basic instruction so a beginner might feel  lost.   This is an excellent option for someone looking to supplement studio classes as it offers a similar yoga studio feel.

Best for Power YogaUltimate Power Yoga
Rodney Yee is a one of the best yoga instructors around and this video shows it.  You will be challenged like no other yoga video before, and it will be with his same intuitive instruction that will leave you stronger physically and mentally – yet relaxed and refreshed.  There are 5 sections in this video, offering a 90 minute workout total.  This video is an excellent supplement to any serious athlete’s routine that will help you gain an edge no matter what your main activity is.

Sage Roundtree is a certified yoga instructor and triathlete. Yoga makes any athlete better and this yoga video will show you how.  When you have a DVD at home, you can fit yoga into your busy routine and workout schedule to maximize results.    This yoga video would complement many athletic events including cycling, marathon runners, mountain climbing, rowing, skiing and swimmers to name a few.
